On the new graphics

A big shout out to Dustcow who has come up with outstanding new graphics for our blog and whatsapp group!

If you look at the image, you will see that the design has Ignis on the left and Glacis on the right. Fire merging with Ice to create one world..  very excellent concept!

Rules of Engagement (Post Season 62)

Start of Season:

1) Remember that we are using a "ping pong" strategy with our other Dson SinEspa branch.

No capturing Dson lands, No raiding Dson garrisons. Unless permission is given by the player you are targetting.

2) On occasion, there will be other alliances who will join in our strategy. I will update their alliance names in "Latest Updates" post. Don't raid their garrisons or capturing their lands either.

All other alliances are free to be attacked in any way you want. (Please have common sense and don't pick fights with players bigger than our Cardinals.)

Fighting in the Season:

1) If some player "throws the first punch" and attacks you first, let the alliance know on Alliance Chat or WhatsApp.

2) Tell us the name of the player, his alliance and whether he raided you or captured your islands.

3) Our alliance will help you to retaliate if you need help.

4) Keep the retaliation commensurate with the attack. If they raid us, we raid them in return. If they capture our lands, we capture their lands in return.

5) Avoid capturing their lands if they only raided you.

6) Avoid starting fights with alliances with higher level players than ours.

End of Season:

1) When the season ends, the Cardinal leading the alliance will create a new alliance in Bronze league (or Silver) and invite you again.

This is done so both Ignis and Glacis branches will remain in the same league.

2) Collect your end of season reward then accept invite to the new alliance.

Tactics for 125 and 233 lands

I've been asked to do a little video tutorial for our lower level members to help them with attacking 125 & 233 lands.

Note:
125 - 1 archer, 2 spear + 5 militia on defence
233 - 2 archers, 3 spear + 3 militia on defence

For the videos, I chose to use a level 4 Titan to simulate a lower level player. (My level 14 Youlgreave uses a different tactic. He just destroys the enemy on his own while the troops eat popcorn. LOL. )

Strategy for Season 63 - We are growing!!

Dear alliance, we have grown from strength to strength. During the last event we split our Dson SinEspa alliance into 2 smaller alliances to gain more burning souls. The strategy worked and BOTH alliances ended up in the Top 1% world wide. That is an incredible achievement.

We have shown that our 2 alliance "ping pong" strategy works well. We have also more than 50 members in total now. So it is time to have two separate Dson alliances that will work together - Dson Ignis and Dson Glacis - Fire and Ice (Subsequent Dson alliances can be named after the latin words for earth, wind, etc..)

There will also continue to be a Dson Academy. Academy members who are active and show commitment will be recommended for promotion by our Cardinals-in-charge at the Academy, Semadi Nadai and Noel.

The cardinals in Ignis and Glacis will try to get some big 125 or 233 lands from their neutral area and distribute them among the members.

Both Ignis and Glacis will be in the same league and will cooperate to defend each other and continue the ping pong raids. Remember NO capping of lands or raiding of garrisons of our Dson brothers and sisters. You may do what you want with other non allied alliances.
