Greetings all,
This post is compulsory reading. We are going to effect the most significant change to our strategy ever.
We have been testing this in season 61 and have found it successful so we will implement in season 62.
We will start off as usual with an invite to a new bronze league Dson SinEspa alliance.
After that some cardinals and some members will join another alliance in the same league.
We will keep titan defences on key islands (e.g. shard islands) and take down titan defence on non key islands (e.g. mine, farm or VP islands).
We will then raid each other's unguarded islands BUT NOT GARRISONS.
I repeat, NO RAIDING OF GARRISONS.
(Edit: Why no raiding of garrisons? This strategy is only effective because we are raiding guys with higher level islands than us. These guys drop their titan defences so we can hit them for resources. Small guys don't give big money. These same big guys can easily destroy us. If we raid their garrisons, they lose resources and they get pissed. We don't want big guys who have been nice to us and let us hit their lands to be pissed with us. Comprende?)
You see, when we raid islands, the raider gets gold + food + VP but the defender doesn't lose anything. (In yr battle log, it will say you lost resources but if you check, your gold, food and VP levels stay the same).
But if you raid a garrison, then the defender DOES lose resources.
This is a quick way to get TONNES of gold and food.
Now, normally we won't keep attacking big players to get resources for fear of pissing them off, but since we are actually the same alliance but split into two teams, there is no issue cos we all know the plan.
Some tips now: I can take out non titan islands up to 91k defense (haven't tried higher) with a 24k attack. So go ahead and hit the Cardinals on the other side for max resources. It's easy with no titan on defence. Also consider stocking up on Freeze spells. Very useful in dealing with non titan enemies. It gives your unaks & titan time to destroy them.
Okay.. any questions? Ask on Whatsapp or in world.
PS: If you are one of those to join up with another alliance, change your nick by adding a [DS] in front. E.g. [DS] Smorg.
That way we maintain our alliance identity even if "away from home".
Finally, if other players mess with us, we can still respond as one alliance. The offending guy just feels like he got hit from two different teams.. hahahhahaha.
Smorg.
