1. What is Ping Pong (PP)?
Changes to PP have been made. See here.
- PP is when a player raids another player's lands for resources (gold, food, vp). Raiding lands does not cost the defender anything. The attacker gains resources (rss) but the defender doesn't lose anything. It is called ping pong because both parties have an agreement to cooperate (not get upset about being raided).
2. How does Dson do PP?
Changes to PP have been made. See here.
- Dson splits into 2 or more sub alliances every season for ping pong. The understanding is that any Dson (#DS) player may raid any other Dson player. The PP agreement is always in effect among #DS players.
3. Can I Ping Pong garrisons?
Changes to PP have been made. See here.
- No. When you raid a garrison, the defender loses resources. The defender may be saving gold for upgrades or food to train troops. Taking his resources is no good. Do not raid Dson garrisons.
4. Can I PP with other alliances?
Changes to PP have been made. See here.
- Sometimes the cardinals will make an agreement with another alliance. These alliances will be announced on the Latest Updates section of this infoblog. You may PP with players from cooperating alliances.
- Alternatively, you may make your own agreement with individual players.
5. What do I need to do for PP?
Changes to PP have been made. See here.
- First TD down on your lands (especially gold mines and farms). You may keep TD up on your Garrison and on VP lands (lakes, mountains and forests).
6. What is TD?
- TD is Titan Defence. It is the action of placing a titan and its assigned troops onto a land to defend it. TD down means remove your titan defences and TD up means to place your titans defence onto your lands.
7. How do I TD up or down?
- To TD up, go to your land overview (bottom left button with 3 castles). Select the land you wish to TD up on. Click Defend. Choose your titan. Press the Troops tab to assign troops to your titan. Then click Defend.
- To TD down, go to your Titan Hall, scroll all the way to the right and select the titan on defence. There will be a little circle arrow button in the centre of the screen. Press it then click OK. Your titan is back!
8. What does neutral lands / free lands / unoccupied lands?
- There is a cluster of islands directly to the North of your alliance in Land Overview mode. These lands belong to no one and you may capture them to add to your Kingdom. You should capture lands from here instead of from other players.
9. Which unowned land should I capture?
- When you are just starting out (level 15 and below), don't bother about VP lands (lakes, forests, moutains). The senior players will provide VP for the alliance. You should concentrate on growing and upgrading by only holding gold mine and farm islands.
10. What is VP?
- VP stands for Victory Points. You can get VP from raiding/capturing lands and garrisons. You also get VP by collecting VP from VP lands (lakes, forests, mountains).
- VP is used to determine an alliances ranking at the end of each season. The amount of VP from each player is added up to form the alliance's VP. The higher your alliance's VP, the higher the rank at season end and the better the rewards each player gets.
